To me, wedding receptions should be all about the party and celebration. So, what better way to let loose and party than with a photobooth? I'm so glad we decided to incorporate one into our reception. Our amazing photographers handled everything from the set up to snapping the pictures throughout the night. We provided the props and laughter.
The photobooth was housed in the barn alongside the groom's cake. The small space of the barn provided the perfect atmosphere for the bright purple backdrop, but there was plenty of room inside to move around and gather groups of friends for pictures.
We opened the photobooth after the cake cake cutting, and there was a steady stream of people in and out for the rest of the night. Because we hadn't taken enough pictures for the day, my bridesmaids and I decided to have a little photoshoot of our own inside the photobooth. The picture below of all the girls kissing on my unborn Godson is one of my favorite pictures from the booth (although it's hard to narrow it down to just a couple of favorites. They are all hilarious and so fun to look back on).
Is it bad that some of my favorite pictures from our wedding reception were the pictures captured in the photobooth? Our guests took full advantage of the plethora of props and everyone let their personalities shine. I love looking back on these fun memories!
